About the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Business:
Our team develops and delivers innovative instruments, consumables, and software solutions for customers in scientific research and analytical testing markets. From chemistry and pharmaceuticals to forensics, environmental analysis, and biochemistry, we play a key role in driving breakthroughs across scientific fields.
How You Will Make an Impact:
As a Sr. Field Scientist, Applications, you'll be a trusted partner for our customers, helping them solve complex analytical challenges with our cutting-edge LCMS technology.
What You Will Do:
- Product Training: Provide hands-on and virtual training for customers on the effective use of our instruments and software.
- Application Optimization: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop and customize scientific methods and applications. Troubleshoot, analyze data, and offer insights that drive solutions.
- Technical Presentations: Present the capabilities and benefits of our products to diverse audiences, translating complex concepts into clear, actionable information.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to support and enhance the customer training process.
- Scientific Support: Stay current with the latest scientific research, regulations, and technologies. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams, finding opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Leadership: Lead projects independently, mentor junior team members, and serve as a consultant for specialized market segments.
What You Bring:
- Education: Master's degree or higher in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with LCMS instruments, software, and data analysis.
- Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize technical systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills-able to simplify complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in both local language and English.
- Travel: This position may require up to 75% travel.
