What You Will Do

The Sr. Director of Commercial Performance leads critical initiatives and generating insights that enables executional excellence across Electron Microscopy Commercial team. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Sales for the Electron Microscopy Business. Areas of focus include sales development curricula, data and analytics, technology enablement and process improvements. Evaluate the current business needs and provide plans to commercial leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial tools, processes and analytics to accelerate growth and bolster our innovation and digitalization efforts.
  • Partner with commercial leaders to align the business unit strategies and implement and measure virtual commercial platforms.
  • Accountable for defining and establishing a robust assessment process including sales incentive plan governance based on outstanding metrics that focus on quantifiable and qualitative outcome and results.
  • Act as the Chief-of-Staff to division global commercial leader by optimally mobilize the various levels of the organization (both operational and functional) to move forward with strategic and tactical change. Keep a pulse and regularly assess progress through regular engagement with leaders, use of digital tools, training platform, new technology and processes
  • Provide consultation and project management to all assigned initiatives and proactively communicate risks and expectations
  • Analyze, diagnose and provide insights into sales force effectiveness and performance

How You Get Here

  • Bachelors degree required (in a Science preferred); MBA a plus
  • 10 years of proven experience with strong sales and operations background
  • Strong background in commercial operating roles (e.g., global marketing lead, commercial operations, strategy, brand management)
  • 6+ years of leading successful projects and organizational change programs. Established as strong analytics and insights platform for business performance
  • Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with confirmed ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and lead execution
  • High energy, team oriented, data driven and results focused.
  • Previous people leadership is required.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Oregon is $192,700.00-$260,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
