Location/Division Specific Information
As the Sr Commercial Manager, you will lead the Hong Kong commercial team of our Laboratory Product Group. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer relationships, and implementing business strategies to ensure the success of the HK Laboratory Product Group.

Job Responsibilities
- Gain insights into the markets and industry to define the market strategy and action plan to exceed sales targets.
- Lead and develop the team through our performance management development process, providing effective mentorship and engagement.
- Drive sales strategies to meet plan and expand business, leading the sales team to success.
- Assist and mentor sales reps in developing and implementing customer-specific action plans.
- Collaborate with business collaborators, such as value stream team, technical team, and finance team, to drive business growth.
- Partner with the marketing department to support the development and execution of marketing programs and sales materials.
- Develop privileged relationships with existing key accounts while acquiring new customers from the competition.
- Work closely with the Commercial Head to improve customer experience and drive the Thermofisher value proposition.
- Define customer segment strategy and action plan, collaborating with cross-divisions to win more market share.
Keys to Success
To excel in this role, you will need:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in life science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- More than 10 years of proven experience in leading a division.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and persuasive communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
- Proven ability to lead and resolve potentially difficult situations and conflicts swiftly and effectively.
- Outstanding written, oral, and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
- Ability to energize a team to accomplish goals and develop and empower talent.
