Job Description
Develop and maintain relationships with key channels to market to promote the CMD products and services.
Understand who the key players are in each channel and encouraging a relationship to drive growth
Monitor market dynamics and understand competitors for CMD
Work closely with other functional areas within Thermo Fisher Scientific to collaborate, gain support and assistance in execution of channel business/market plans;
Ensure division business needs are addressed and communicated with Channels in a timely manner.
Collaborate and use influence to lead peers and channel partners
Develop channel business plans to identify key areas of growth potential and strategy to assemble both short and long term growth.

Establishes robust quarterly and monthly business reviews to assess growth targets or variances to plan
Develop processes to identify category shortfalls within specific product categories and institute measures to improve performance
Establish achievable growth targets
Know how to get market assessment information and have the flexibility to act
Actively participate in the AOP development
Develop an annual channel marketing plan that supports growth initiatives
Establish appropriate sales targets for each channel with input from each business unit
Build and implement programs that drive revenue improvement
Coordinate CMD's activities for channels' National Sales Meetings
Work within existing processes and establish new processes where applicable.
Develop and deploy a global/country strategy for channel management
