Location/Division Specific Information

High Point, NC/ PSG, Softgel Division

Discover Impactful Work:

This position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, etc.); general cleaning.

Schedule will be Mo-Fri,8 hours, day shift

A day in the Life:

  • Follow quality standards in accordance with company policy, cGMP and FDA requirements.
  • Paint, replacing sheetrock, remodel, refurbish areas as needed. Repair/ replace bumpers in the production area. Change light bulb throughout the Facility as needed.
  • Unplugging sewer mains, laterals, building drains, or individual fixture drains.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • Preferred Minimum 2 years of related of general maintenance experience and/or combination training in the following trades: plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting and carpentry.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance skills like carpentry, painting plumbing, electrical, wall repairs etc.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including yearly plant shutdown.
  • Perform daily responsibilities with vitality and a high level of accountability. Ability to work well independent or with minimal direction.
  • Able to perform small tasks associated with office or equipment relocating work orders.
  • Good interpersonal skills (written and verbal). Ability to efficiently present information in one-on-one and small group situations and to write routine reports and correspondence.

The employee must regularly lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
