How will you make an impact?

Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned. This remote internship will support the Biostatistician team within the Bioanalytical Laboratory. This team focuses on data integrity within our Laboratory teams and helps determine the safety of drugs. Interns will learn about a contract research laboratory and its role within the pharmaceutical research and development industry.

Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:

  • Provide statistical support to analysis of laboratory data
  • Prepare and review reports
  • Contribute to the statistical methods section and verify for completeness and consistency
  • Training within department (attend departmental specific training)
  • Participate in internal meetings. Interact with multiple departments including labs and IT
  • Other tasks under the direction of the Supervisor

Start Date: This internship is set to begin on either May 12th or June 16th, 2025 for a duration of 10-12 weeks - dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.

Compensation & Relocation: This position offers an hourly rate of $32.00. Please note that a relocation stipend is not offered as this role is remotely based.

How will you get here?

  • Graduate student completing a Master's in Mathematics or Statistics between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
  • Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
  • Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
