Job Title: Senior Account Manager Bioproduction (m/f/d)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic salesperson to join our European team to help develop and grow the robust and dynamic Bioproduction market in France. Reporting to the Sales Manager for the EMEA South region, responsible for the sales of our entire Bioproduction portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence the use and evaluation of our Bioproduction products to Biopharmaceutical and Biotech organizations, including: Gibco Cell Culture and Thermo Scientific Single Use Technology brands, Poros and CaptureSelect purification solutions as well as Applied Biosystems pharma analytics solutions
  • Maintain and grow business within existing key accounts as well as seeking new relationships in less well-known segment areas
  • Can use judgement and prioritization to bring in the appropriate resources to drive sales objectives
  • Comfortable with a hunter-selling environment and efficiently collaborates with other teams to ensure we deliver valuable details to bring new proposals to customers
  • Provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting as well as competitive information

Requirements:

  • >5 years of sales experience in Bioproduction market and/or industry related experiences preferred
  • Established sales history and relationships with the upstream and downstream process development group within key biopharmaceutical accounts in the region
  • Strong technical skills needed to discuss and support requirements in the workflows in the field of Cell and Gene Therapy, recombinant Proteins and Monoclonal antibodies within Process Development, Pilot Plants and manufacturing sciences
  • Knowledge of accounts and key customers and to interpret customer's needs and determine solutions
  • Strong analytical abilities needed to analyze territory sales data and technical information
  • Requires the ability to perform independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce.com
  • Life science or Chemistry degree (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in English and French
  • Extensive travel throughout the region
