A day in the life:

  • Drive new sales
  • Proactively meet with customers throughout the assigned territory on a regular basis
  • Prospect new and further develop existing relationships at different levels throughout assigned accounts
  • Prepare business plans for the territory. Plan should include opportunity map, sales strategies, tactics and resource requirements
  • Use sales resources effectively and works as a team to lead sales opportunities

How will you get here?

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in the Sciences strongly preferred

Experience

  • 5+ years of Sales Experience
  • Experience selling professional services and/or software
  • Experience selling enterprise software (LIMS)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Appropriate technical understanding and business insight to present compelling value proposition to current and prospective customers.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the competition in their sales campaigns to develop persuasive strategies
  • Collaborates with other groups within ThermoFisher to implement appropriate techniques to address business opportunities and overcome obstacles
  • Leads the contract review process to gain consensus from clients
  • Builds commitment and closure at each stage of the sales process
  • Ability to travel up to 25-50%

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Georgia is $86,300.00-$143,900.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
