Position Summary:

This position presents an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Sr Account Manager. As the leader in the scientific industry, Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales and account management activities for all assigned locations in China. Your main objectives will be to define and drive sales strategies, provide leadership to subordinates, and ensure the achievement of bookings, revenue, and business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Own all sales and account management responsibilities of specified Thermo Fisher Electron Microscopes products to Middle/West of China SEMI customers, including resolving any issues.
  • Define, align, and successfully implement the Account Strategy.
  • Maintain accurate quarterly booking forecasts to determine sales targets and strategies.
  • Understand all budget issues at each customer and take strategic action to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Confirm that all system configurations, specifications, and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders.
  • Lead all User Group activity by product as required, ensuring flawless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage system demonstrations by working closely with application engineers and product marketing managers.
  • Oversee the sales booking process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Account service group and application engineers to effectively manage product issues in the field and provide timely solutions.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A university degree, preferably in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in a related product area.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills for effective customer interaction and closure of sales and other issues.
  • Excellent, enthusiastic, and clear communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse audience.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, collaborating with customers and account teams to determine optimal solutions.
  • Proven presentation skills and experience creating materials for presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with an account team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and factories locally and internationally.
