Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You will join an agile development team, focusing on building our next generation cloud-based architecture and platform
  • Design, develop and maintain API and UI test automation framework used throughout scrum teams
  • Contribute to test automation adoption and coverage increase across the teams
  • Partner with DevSecOps and integration test team on setup and maintenance of automation test environments
  • Collaborate with scrum teams to align test tools and workflows and provide guidance on new test approaches
  • Design, develop and maintain automated tests and building them into CI/CD pipeline
  • Share business and technical takeaways with the broader engineering and product organization, while adapting approach for different audiences
  • Identifying tools and providing guidance for non-functional automated tests

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer, IT, science or related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • proficient in English
  • 5+ year experience in software test automation
  • Proficiency with at least one or more programming languages: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript
  • Hands on experience in implementing, maintaining and enhancing test automation frameworks for API and UI testing
  • Proficiency with testing libraries and tools: API (Postman, SoapUI, RestSharp, RestAssured etc.), UI (TestComplete, Selenium, Cypress etc.)
  • Experience in CI / CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Understanding of cloud and containerization technologies
  • Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies
  • Ability to present technical information to collaborators
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience in non-functional testing: performance (load, stress), infrastructure (resiliency, failover) would be an advantage
  • ISTQB certification would be an advantage
