Hours: End of Week Night Shift; Thursday - Saturday from 6:00pm - 6:30am.

A day in the Life:

  • Work with Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and 24-480v controls.
  • Assist operators in equipment set-up, start-up, and continuous operation. Including but not limited to changeover of the production equipment related to format and serialization.
  • Build and write work instructions, setup instructions, preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Actively influence training of employees on various packaging equipment.
  • Assists operators, engineers, and supervisors with equipment installation, provide suggestions for modifications and continuous improvements!
  • Validate and verify operation of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operation conditions.
  • Maintain equipment files and document maintenance activities in compliance of SOPs and Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP). Ensure compliance of Preventative Maintenance.
  • Identify and order equipment parts as needed.
  • Actively participates in problem-solving sessions with focus on safety, quality, and driving efficiency improvement actions! Analyze equipment, develop and implement solutions.
  • Knowledge of electrical: ability to diagnose control circuits, drives, PLC experience preferred but not required.
  • Handle numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Active participant and recommend solutions to monthly safety, quality and efficiency meetings.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years experience in pharmaceutical production and packaging preferred.
  • 2 -3 years experience manufacturing equipment maintenance

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read/understand piping and instrument diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment assembly drawings and other equipment related documentation.
  • Job may require wearing of NFPA 70E personal protective equipment as well as Tyvek coveralls and different styles of respirators.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate in a team environment.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and be available on an on-call basis as needed.
