How you will make an impact:

The shipping and receiving Site Specialist II is responsible for performing a variety of critical tasks under general supervision. This individual will ensure the delivery of all external and internal shipments following established standard operating procedures while staying aligned with all DOT / IATA regulations.

What you will do:

  • Daily receiving of customer packages and shipments
  • Ensure deliveries of customer inbound freight and packages to various locations throughout customer site are completed accurately.
  • Working with end user community to coordinate deliveries.
  • Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems.
  • Adopts Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies
  • Maintain Shipping and Receiving packing materials
  • Daily use of powered and manual pallet jacks and lifters
  • Strong attention to detail in daily site safety procedures
  • Review work instructions with leadership and colleagues

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent(GED)
  • College degree preferred, but not required.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of dynamic proven experience required
  • Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred
  • Experience in GLP/GMP environment a plus
  • Phenomenal customer service skills
  • Experience with receiving dangerous goods a plus
