Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Pay: $20-22/hr, depending on experience

How will you make an impact?

You will be focused on service delivery excellence for UnityTM Lab Services. Specific activities relative to the job function will include order entry, order management, operating customer procurement systems, metric reporting, stockroom services and material handling. Assist with additional site-based tasks related to inventory or scientific services as necessary.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support our customers' laboratory needs.

Responsibilities

  • Using inventory/order management electronic systems to perform on-site program replenishments and disbursements, receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry and expediting, customer service call resolution, product returns, and backorder processing
  • Working within computer systems to access and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Proactively communicating with the supervisor any customer concerns and/or potential problems.
  • Effectively addressing customer concerns within established resolution timeframes.
  • Engaging in process improvement activities.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

How will you get here?

Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check to include drug screening.

Education:

Must possess a High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

Previous inventory experience strongly encouraged.

Customer service experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proven verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Computer/software skills (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Working Conditions:

Works primarily in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations and laboratory environments.

Walking/standing may be required for up to 70% of the day.

May pass through areas where chemical-based allergens may be in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc)

Able to lift, push and pull 30-50 pounds as required.

Able to use material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks.

Depending on area of building, personal protective equipment may be worn to include lab coats, coveralls, facemask and/or safety gloves.
