With the growing business prospects for these services, we want to expand our organization and infrastructural foundations. We now have a position available for a Service Architect - Digital Services.

How you can make an impact:

The role of the Service Architect is key in the analysis, definition and implementation of new value added service concepts and offerings. As opposed to traditional focus on existing operational processes for business analysts, you are in a key position of designing our future services by working at the front-end of service innovation process design. In this role you will be part of the Digital Services Architect team and will be positioned in between the services marketing team and the service technical and operational teams. You will work closely with the Market Product Managers, Solution Architects, the Business Process Owners and Project-Leads for implementing the new commercial offerings in the organization.

What you will do:

  • Translate the service product requirements into a service design.
  • Identify, analyze, and specify the requirements of the customer, business as well as the internal organization, and explain this to the project team(s).
  • Translate service business information and user needs into comprehensive and tangible requirements.
  • Analyze new services business models, operational and transactional impacts and model the data and business processes into a solution design suitable for development specification.
  • Obtain the goals and needs of the different project team members through interviews or other ways of communication.
  • Guiding the implementation of new or improved processes for services and verify the accurate functioning as designed.
  • Be the link between the business requirements and the solution, and as such, the conversation partner with other service architects and technical architects to design processes and assess technical solution fit.
  • Pro-actively advise the organization on strategic business process improvements.
  • Build and maintain excellent connection with the worldwide service teams, operational teams and the different business units.
  • Contribute to the development of the multi-year digital services roadmap for all business units in the MSD division.

How do you get there:

  • University/higher professional education in a (preferred) business process or (affinity) technical direction
  • >5 years work experience in a b-2-b (digital) service environment (Strong preferred experience in high tech manufacturing and/or service business)
  • Experience in understanding customer needs and translating these into requirements
  • Experienced in investigating and analysis of data
  • Process management capabilities and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, English language is a must
  • Conceptual problem solver and the ability to translate concepts into practice
  • Preferred experience with Business Model Canvas, Process modelling, Togaf, Business Capability Modelling, SAFe, DevOps
  • Team-player, self-starting, persistent, result driven, "Can-do-Will-do" mentality thriving in a dynamic work environment
  • Experienced in working with globally distributed teams
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours to meet the needs of international internal customers and team members.
  • Cultural and organizational sensitivity awareness
  • Representative, customer facing skills
  • Location: Brno, Czech Republic
  • < 10% travel
