Job Title: Senior Technical Sales Manager APJ: dPCR, qPCR Assays and Content

Location: APJ

Are you a multifaceted and proven sales leader looking to make a significant impact in the APJ region? Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a motivated Senior Technical Sales Manager to drive the promotion and sales of our qPCR and dPCR product portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct a team of technical sales specialists to achieve business growth and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with division leaders, marketing, and commercial management to create strategic plans for GSD product sales.
  • Conduct technical visits and calls with key customers and distributors to build strong relationships and promote our products.
  • Develop close working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and scientific leaders to endorse our portfolio.
  • Lead the team in developing strategies that target specific segments to achieve regional targets.
  • Work with departments like Regulatory Affairs, Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Distribution to share insights and align strategies.
  • Champion the qPCR and dPCR portfolio, focusing on key market opportunities in the region.
  • Manage dPCR forecasting and contribute to qPCR assay and content forecasts.
  • Provide scientific and technical support to the sales team and distributors.
  • Collaborate with country commercial leaders to develop sales objectives for products, markets, regions, and sales channels.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences; Master's Degree or PhD preferred. Experience with dPCR and qPCR consumables and reagents is a bonus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience and 3+ years of team management experience preferred
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams toward unified business goals in a fast-paced commercial matrix environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge of qPCR/dPCR technologies, instruments, and related consumables, as well as their applications in different market segments.
  • Proficiency in consultative selling and negotiation skills to increase sales success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM, and internet tools.

Travel Requirements - Anticipate travel requirements of 40 - 50%.
