US - Remote/ Pharma Services Group (PSG)

How will you make an impact?

Our team is focus on providing technical services focused on 4 pillars: Solutioning; Implementation; Releases; Production Support. With your strong technical skills, including knowledge of software development, networking, and systems integration, you will help drive our high-level technical discussions w/ development teams and other IT teams to come up with effective and efficient technical design/solutions that will meet our business needs as well as our clients.

What will you do?

  • Design, implement, and support technical solutions for clients.
  • Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop customized solutions that meet their needs.
  • Solution Engineers are experts in their field and possess.
  • Problem-solve and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, provide technical support, code reviews, and assist with the implementation and deployment of solutions.
  • Find opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Education

BS Computer Science or any STEM related degree

Experience

8+ years of experience in software development, technical leadership and application support role

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Programming languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Software development: Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and standard processes is important. This includes knowledge of version control systems, agile development methodologies, and software testing.
  • Systems integration: Integrating various systems and technologies to build a cohesive solution. This involves understanding APIs, web services, and protocols used for system integration.
  • Cloud computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is often required. Knowledge of cloud services, deployment models, and infrastructure-as-code concepts is helpful.
  • Databases: Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., SQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is important. Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and data modeling is also valuable.
  • Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies is critical, including knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and networking solving.
  • DevOps and automation: Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Docker) is often desired. Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is beneficial.
  • Security: Awareness of security standard methodologies and knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques is important. Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices is valuable.
  • Data analytics and visualization: Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python libraries like Pandas) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Operating systems and server administration: Proficiency in operating systems such as Linux and Windows, as well as server administration skills, server configurations, performance monitoring, and solving.
