Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr Manager, Sales to join our exceptional team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 8-12 Sales Representatives, ensuring flawless execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement district level plans that align with overall company objectives, while consistently delivering measurable results.
  • Drive sales performance by providing coaching, training, and guidance to the sales team, helping them exceed their goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to determine and successfully implement effective sales strategies.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to determine competitive positioning and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Job Requirements:

  • Equivalent experience in a scientific field, with a minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the Life Sciences/Analytical Instruments sector, will also be considered.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets, with experience leading a territory at or above $100M.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with teams from various departments and cultivating relationships with important individuals.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of analyzing market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to travel as required.
