Job Description

Senior Quality assurance specialist to assure continuous coordination and support for qPCR products within GSD BU by following quality assurance activities: resolution of deviations and customer complaints, documentation review, support change proposals, participate in related to NPI and transfer projects at Vilnius site.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that established manufacturing processes and procedures are followed and customer complaints are addressed.
  • Ensures product compliance with specifications, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Support GSD business related (qPCR products) processes: complaints, unplanned deviations, kaizen events, product non-conformities, stability studies where needed.
  • Ensures that product which does not conform to product requirements (nonconforming) is identified and controlled to prevent its unintended use or delivery as per documented procedures.
  • Ensure that actions are taken place to eliminate the causes of nonconformities in order to prevent recurrence. Takes action to eliminate the causes of nonconformities in order to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide support on investigation of customer complaints. Collections all complaint data in a quality roadmap and reports out at a monthly division meeting. Facilitates investigations where factory support required. Analyzes and summarizes results, makes decisions on the confirmation of complaints.
  • Communicates with Thermo Fisher Scientific technical support specialists, product managers and customers in a timely manner. .
  • Works in collaboration with production, R&D, customer service and other related groups.
  • Proactively proposes process improvement possibilities. Participates in PPI Lean activities.
  • Participates on team projects and assignments, facilitating or leading teams as necessary to support NPIs.

Requirements:

  • Higher university education in biology/chemistry/biochemistry.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent social skills.
  • Digital literacy (MS Office).
  • At least 1 year of work experience in the field of quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of documentation principles.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €31 500,00-€47 250,00.
