Location/Division Specific Information

Our Bordeaux location is known for its analytical digital solutions to accelerate innovation and productivity across research and industrial laboratories. This includes advanced visualization and analysis SW for understanding 2D-5D bioimaging sample and materials structures and properties; 3D visualization and image analysis toolkit and collaborative imaging data management platform for traceability of image-based scientific experiments.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization by ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

What will you do?

  • Own, measure and improve core QA processes like internal audit, CAPA, Continuous Improvement and complaint handling.
  • Ensure integrity in the documented Quality Management System.
  • Support the organization with strategy deployment and metric leadership management.
  • Track and report on process quality trends.
  • Assure compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Represent the site in relevant internal/external audits.
  • Apply quality techniques to aid teams in management of problem solving.

Education

  • Bachelor's engineering Degree or equivalent experience in a technical/scientific field like computer science, software engineering or electronics.
  • Education in QA or experienced in this field.
  • Trained in Lean / Six Sigma processes.
  • Trained auditor.

Experience

  • 5+ Years of QA experience, working in an ISO 9001 environment.
  • Experience in software development is a huge plus.
  • Experience with working in a matrix organization in a large company.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Able to work independently, be a self-starter.
  • Effective and persuasive communicator with the ability to effectively convey ideas to different levels of management.
  • Familiar with statistical analysis.
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office software
  • Hands-on and ready to roll up the sleeves to fill in where required in meeting the site or departmental objectives.
  • Able to travel occasionally.
  • French - fluent; English - speaking and writing on business level (some of the interviews will be conducted in English).
