Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and lead all aspects of research, planning, and implementation of programs and protocols.
  • Oversee a development program within an organization of 80+ skilled individuals.
  • Track all activities from early thought to delivery to the customer, including costs and prioritizing high-value ideas.
  • Stay informed on global research developments to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
  • Supervise employees and hire new talent to the company.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in engineering or science, such as a Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of proven experience, including 5 or more years of managerial experience (projects or teams).
  • Experience in building diverse teams and implementing strategic plans.
  • Ability to co-lead an organization.

Competencies:

  • Work in compliance with legislation and IMS.
  • Define R&D roadmaps aligned with key partners within the company.
  • Supervise and help create R&D plans to address customer needs.
  • Help resolve issues from the field.
  • Contribute to reasonable resources planning.
  • Set and track experienced R&D targets.
  • Lead a team of Project Managers.
  • Hire skilled employees to the development team.
  • Evaluate employee performance and establish their development plans.
  • Research new development options for the product portfolio.
  • Maintain close collaboration with Business Unit, Manufacturing, and Service.
