As a Product Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the opportunity to make an impact by providing exceptional scientific expertise, applications support, and pre-sales activities to customers on our qPCR, dPCR, Genetic analyzer, and Microarray platforms. You will engage with customers through various channels such as in-person meetings, online sessions, phone calls, and emails. Collaborating with our sales team in Singapore and channel partners across the South-East Asia region, you will deliver pre- and post-sales customer support and establish strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support
- Accompany account managers on sales calls or independently meet with customers to deliver product presentations, provide technical and application insights, respond to inquiries, and resolve best solutions for their needs.
- Prepare and present seminars to diverse audiences and represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at trade shows and vendor shows.
- Conduct product demonstrations at customer or company sites.
- Organize sales training sessions and develop selling strategies using technical and market intelligence.
Post-Sales Support
- Provide vital support to customers in resolving issues and complaints in the field.
- Demonstrate operating and troubleshooting procedures for Thermo Fisher Scientific GSD solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional engagements for significant situations that require urgent response from customer-facing team members.
Other Roles & Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain theoretical and practical knowledge of GSD applications/workflows.
- Support sales activities by reporting field activities and technical trends to Sales managers and Channel partners.
- Stay current on scientific and industry trends and innovations.
Requirements:
- MS or PhD in life science strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of laboratory or related work experience, with 2+ years in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills in English.
- Experience providing technical and scientific presentations to a wide range of audience.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction, along with knowledge of market dynamics, trends, and competition.
- Ability to work within a diverse, cross-functional team across multiple sites.
