Job Description

Our Finland locations include Vantaa and Joensuu, employing over 800 professionals in R&D, production, supply chain, quality, marketing, sales, and administrative support. We hire experts in different fields including engineering, chemistry, microbiology, and bioinformatics. Our Vantaa site develops laboratory automation solutions, clinical chemistry and industrial chemistry analyzers and assays, food safety kits, pipettes and other diagnostics and research solutions. It is conveniently located close to the Vantaankoski railway station. • Lead and manage complex engineering programs from conception to completion, ensuring timely and flawless execution within scope and budget.
• Develop and implement program strategy, objectives and plans in alignment with the product roadmap and business goals.
• Provide leadership and direction to project managers and multi-functional team members within the program.
• Monitor and report on program progress, providing updates to senior leadership.
• Manage and engage collaborators, including partners and customers, to understand their needs and expectations. Develop strong relationship with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support.
• Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure projects have the vital tools, personnel, and support. Adjust as needed to optimize efficiency.
• Successfully implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve program efficiency and effectiveness.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in program management within an engineering environment.
• Outstanding leadership and team-building skills, capability to lead and empower cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to perform and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• PMP or other relevant project management certification.
• Experience working in a global organization.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
