The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team are at the forefront of strategic decision making providing impactful analysis and insight for senior leaders. Senior FP&A Analyst with people management responsibilities
Main Duties include:
- Lead a team of 2-3 finance professionals through a dynamic monthly close process
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to direct reports to enable their potential and amplify team output.
- Provides sophisticated decision support to business leadership through the creation and enhancement of decision tools, models, presentations, and dashboards.
- Collects, analyzes and interprets complex financial and operating data for business units and/or corporate functions.
- Prepares reports and analyses in support of monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and ongoing financial activities.
- Leads the forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned business units and/or functional areas.
- Collaborates with department, operational management and cross-functional teams to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Makes recommendations on system and process improvements to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Required Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
- Strong Power BI skills, experience with creation and maintenance of dashboards. Track record in driving process improvements will be an advantage.
- Experience in mentoring people, delegating tasks and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 3+ years).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent level of skill in Microsoft Office programs, experience in creating Excel-based automations.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
- Working knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
- Detail oriented with analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Confidence to handle sensitive information and data effectively.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
