Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Site: Karlsruhe, Germany


We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a focus on real-time programming for the development of embedded systems on ARM-based microcontrollers and C2000 real-time microcontrollers from Texas Instruments. As a member of our technical team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing embedded software solutions for innovative products across various industries.

Your Responsibilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical machines and their control, particularly permanent magnet (EC) and three-phase asynchronous motor topologies.
  • Design, implementation, and optimization of embedded software for real-time systems on ARM and C2000 microcontrollers.
  • Expertise in optimizing motor and temperature control loops.
  • Experience in validating control systems for electrical machines as well as sensors and actuators through prototyping and laboratory testing.

Your Profile:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development with a focus on real-time programming.
  • Proficient in C and experienced with ARM architectures and TI C2000 microcontrollers.
  • Good understanding of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C) and peripheral devices.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge in developing real-time applications for motor control and regulation systems.
  • Experience with modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink for system development is a plus.
