Position Summary:

We're looking for a remote-based Senior Channel Manager to lead our Electron Microscopy business in Eastern Europe and Southern Africa through distributor partnerships. In this role, you'll focus on achieving annual bookings targets, driving growth through strategic direction, and strengthening indirect sales channels. Success will require a proactive approach to managing and optimizing distributor relationships, with about 40% travel across the region. You'll work collaboratively in a matrix environment, aligning with cross-functional teams to maximize our value proposition and impact. Upholding our core values-Intensity, Integrity, Innovation, and Involvement-is key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong partnerships with distribution channels, optimizing routes to market and supporting partner-led sales and marketing activities.
  • Select and onboard high-performing distributors while continually improving partner strategies.
  • Implement distributor marketing plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support partners in meeting targets and delivering Thermo Fisher's value in the region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with extensive commercial experience in the EMEA region.
  • Proven expertise in Electron Microscopy Management and distributor relations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of motivating distributor teams in matrix settings.
  • Commitment to customer and partner satisfaction, with solid communication and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; familiar with CRM systems.
