Discover Impactful Work:

Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and upgrading production and facilities equipment and systems to prevent unscheduled downtime.

A Day in the Life:

  • All production process equipment and anything supporting production must be repaired or adjusted as instructed by work order or verbal request by management.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all production process equipment on a scheduled basis.
  • Use equipment manual and documentation to troubleshoot, tune and to find part numbers to make repairs.
  • Ability to install and calibrate temperature controllers/recorders.
  • Perform all duties in accordance to GMP/QSR guidelines and adhere to all relative Microbiology Division SOP's Perform all work activities in a safe manner.
  • Report any actual or potential safety hazards to management.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walk and stand up to six (6) hours at a time, up to 12 hours a day, with frequent squatting, stooping, kneeling, bending, twisting at the waist, and climbing ladders.
  • Possess the ability to perform the physical requirements of the assigned job as identified by the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) with or without reasonable accommodations.

Keys to Success:

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience. Vocational technical preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Process control and various system utilities (HVAC, Boiler, Chiller) experience.
  • Possess basic knowledge of electronics, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to read blueprints.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $26.00-$39.26.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
