Location/Division Specific Information
For our location in Lillestrøm, we are now looking for a new employee in the manufacturing department. The department consists of a total of 16 people in both lab and factory. This position will work in our factory. As our new colleague, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and show initiative to learn new things. We are also looking for you who are hard-working and take challenges head on. You must like to work practically, be structured and accurate, but also flexible. Ideally, you also have an interest in documentation, and are someone who learns new IT systems quickly.
A day in the Life:
- The work consists of the production of monodisperse polymer particles, and includes a number of different production steps and particle types. The work will take place either in our production laboratory or in our factory.
- Carry out daily productions according to a given production plan
- Work in accordance with good documentation practices
- Participate in the department's continuous work within the improvement and streamlining of routines and procedures. This should be within both productivity, quality and HSE.
- Daily maintenance of equipment and instruments belonging to the department.
Keys to Success:
Education
- High school diploma as process operator, engineer/bachelor in chemistry, laboratory assistant etc.
Experience
- Experience from industrial operations, processing industry or laboratory, preferably within chemistry, biotechnology, food industry or similar, and preferably familiarity with control systems for processing plants.
- Experience of working with chemicals.
- Advantageous with experience from work subject to ISO-13485:2016
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Like to work practically and with routine tasks
- The applicant must like working under strict documentation requirements and follow current procedures.
- Tidy and structured and with a good sense of order
- Good at working independently and in a team.
- Must communicate in Norwegian and English, orally and in writing.
- Must perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 20 kg
