Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.
Key responsibilities:
As a Scientist you will work in a multi-functional environment supporting drug development and will collaborate in cross-functional teams. You will accomplish our mission through innovation and partnership, creative problem-solving, and use of powerful technology including U/HPLC-MS, SEC, MALS, DLS, multidimensional HPLC, UV, and CAD
- Responsibilities include characterization of synthetic molecule drug substance and drug product including parenteral drug products, method development, execution of analytical methods, and new technology evaluation.
- Develop chiral and achiral HPLC methods, conduct testings, document studies in notebooks and presentations.
- Summarize and interpret the data, and troubleshoot technical problems.
Education and Experience:
- Scientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years')
- OR Masters degree
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of analytical and polymer including peptide chemistry is a must.
- Background in chromatography (HPLC, SEC), chromatography data analysis, and light scattering techniques is required.
- Ability to independently develop analytical methods.
- Knowledge of parenteral formulation, nanoparticle characterization, and drug delivery is desirable.
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
- Good problem solving and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Organizational skills, project/time management, and attention to details.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $32.89-$49.33.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
