As a Scientific Software Support Specialist in our Information Technology division, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customers in effectively using our world-class Chromatography Data System (CDS) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) Software. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop strong relationships with teams across various departments, including Software Development and Product teams.
  • Continuously learn about new technologies and stay up-to-date with our supported products
  • Engage in on-site visits to build strong customer relationships and address any concerns that may arise
  • Advocate for our customers, identifying mutually beneficial resolutions

Location: There is one position that is posted in multiple locations. Candidate would live in one of the upper 48 United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers using our CDS and MS Software
  • Resolve software-related issues promptly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure seamless product integration
  • Conduct on-site visits to build relationships and address customer concerns
  • Serve as a customer advocate, finding ways to enhance our products and offering feedback to the development team

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific software technical support for Chromeleon, Empower, ChemStation, Ardia Platform or similar platform.
  • Experience as a CDS Administrator or Super User
  • Proficiency in CDS or MS Software in an enterprise deployment
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server, Win 11, and Win 10 deployments
  • Knowledge of chromatography instrumentation and its usage in an industrial laboratory setting is advantageous
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, up to 20% of the time
