Manager, Scientific Marketing
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Scientific Marketing Manager reports to Sales and Marketing Manager PDx Czech & Slovakia.
- Coordinate PDx Czech & Slovakia Scientific Marketing activities, with Global Marketing & APAC Scientific Marketing in line with growth objectives and Global & Local Marketing plans.
- Coordinate external clinical projects in line with company commercial and scientific objectives, production of project plans and timelines.
- Work closely with Key Opinion Leaders to produce abstracts, posters and peer-reviewed articles based on data evaluation from the aforementioned studies.
- Develop strategic alliance with Associations, Academies & other bodies to improve brand equity, through scientific programs and initiatives; develop, maintain, and handle relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
- Deliver Freelite, Hevylite, Specialist Immunology and mass spectrometry scientific educations within Czech & Slovakia.
- Produce standard company slides to align Scientific and Marketing message.
- Travel up to 70% within territory and internally to meet the business requirements; attend regional and international Scientific conferences.
- Provide an authoritative understanding of TBS assays including how these relate to international and local guidelines.
- Design internal and external communication messages and provide training programs to employees and clients; support in producing promotional tools to support sales processes.
- Function as liaison between region and Corporate Marketing and MSL team.
- Support commercial team to collate/structure/update marketing information to produce market mapping, penetration, and business sizing.
- Participate and supply in other customer aspects of business i.e. technical cases, Regulatory Affairs, quality assurance using their scientific & marketing expertise.
- Assist and cover basic offer paperwork/duties with members of team.

Crucial:
- PhD or Masters in Biochemistry or related subject (or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience).
- Scientific & marketing experience in areas involving Haematology, immunology or oncology.
- Data leadership skills (basic statistical analyses and data handling, interpretation of scientific data, and development of graphics).
- Excellence in Scientific communication (written, verbal and communicating).
- Project management and timelines.
- Good analytical skill.
- Application of science within a commercial environment.
- Dedication, honesty and Integrity.
- Great teammate able to communicate successfully in a manner consistent with professional scientific etiquette with all levels within the Company and with the Customer base.
- Strong background in prioritizing and simultaneously balancing multiple projects (activities) for timely completion of projects.
