Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Technical Writer/Editor to join our digital marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting impactful content that improves product & brand awareness and increases customer loyalty. This includes covering the latest academic research in life sciences, promoting Thermo Fisher products, providing laboratory technique guides, and developing educational or popular science materials .

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and edit high-quality, scientifically accurate content that effectively communicates the value and benefits of Thermo Fisher Scientific products.
  • Build engaging product introductions, promotional materials, and brand awareness content tailored to our target audience in the life sciences industries.
  • Stay current with industry trends, scientific advancements, and competitor activities to build timely and relevant content.
  • Write and edit content for various platforms, including website product pages, informative materials, social media posts, emails, newsletters, and other marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and marketing teams to capture information and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field).
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate sophisticated scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and persuasive content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or scientific research industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams.
