About Team: The Enterprise Technology & Operations (ETO) team partners with the business and other IT groups to define, run, test, validate and deliver the strategic direction and operational performance of Enterprise Applications and Systems for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Our enterprise applications run business critical activities like CRM, order taking and fulfillment, manufacturing, leading new product development and launch, sales and customer management, data and document management, and business insights.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Salesforce developer you will have complete ownership of a complex Salesforce application. You will work on three fronts, development (enhancements and projects), application support/security and driving POC/innovations. You will work with product owners to convert the given business requirements into technical solutions and implement them in the salesforce. You will work on application support working with end users, other system owners for timely resolution of incidents. You will ensure system stability, security, proactive monitoring, implement standard processes and regular support requests for a large business group.
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years IT experience in Salesforce, both as Administrator and Developer
- In-depth experience in Apex coding is required. Apex classes, triggers, controllers, batch apex, test classes, governor limits and design patterns.
- In-depth experience in LWC and Javascript is required.
- Experience in Salesforce configuration and development using no-code/low-code tools like flows.
- Experience in Sales and Service cloud.
- Excellent problem solving skills using various Salesforce options for complex integrated environments with multiple integrations.
- Experience in maintaining operations for complex Salesforce environment, health checks, monitoring, maintaining support ticket SLAs, security, auditing, pro-active and reactive operation support.
- Experience in running Territory alignment, Year-end processes, data uploads regular support requests and working directly with end-users for timely incident resolutions and fixing the root cause.
- Experience working with Product owners to understand requirements, provide estimates and handle development and deployment of enhancements and projects.
- Experience in deployment, DevOps process
- Experience in integration of Salesforce.com applications with other applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective trouble-shooting mechanisms and highly adaptable to different work environments.
- Experiment with new POC and innovations like Salesforce co-pilot, ChatGPT to drive revenue, productivity and security,
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 license and Salesforce Admin license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- End-to-end knowledge of Agile/Kanban Methodology.
- Experience in Aura, Visualforce is preferred.
- Knowledge of Partner Community, Health Cloud is preferred.
- Knowledge of AWS and integration with Salesforce.
- Any additional Salesforce certifications like Platform Developer II are a plus.
