The Fisher Scientific Channel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated virtual training specialist. This person will have the outstanding opportunity to identify training opportunities, build and develop learning plans and content, and deliver training to the commercial sales organization. You become an authority in the entire suite of learning content, sales tools, and company resources, and will be expected to teach and facilitate training sessions on multiple topics. The Sales Training Specialist will directly contribute to the performance of the RSD Sales organization by delivering moment-of-need content to support the fluid needs of the business.

A day in the Life:

  • Virtual delivery of training content
  • Present topics that drive growth on monthly sales calls
  • Work closely with team members to identify gaps in the sales training process and build training content and host learning sessions to drive performance.
  • Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
  • Craft and develop comprehensive training curriculum within time and budget constraints
  • Produce engaging and interactive physical and digital educational materials, including videos, e-learning modules, and case studies
  • Support leaders and new colleagues through a multiphase, rapid onboarding training process
  • Acquire trainer certifications to deliver intermediate and sophisticated sales courses
  • Collect feedback from trainees and managers to continuously improve training programs
  • Deliver training at national and regional sales meetings
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with functional area managers, DSMs, and Subject Matter Authorities to enhance course content

Keys to Success:

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in STEM, Healthcare, Business, Management, or Communications

Minimum Experience

  • 5+ years of sales and training experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or STEM related field

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively balance multiple tasks
  • Shown ability to drive organizational change and improve performance
  • Strong knowledge and application of adult learning theory, blended learning approaches, and evaluation methods
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in virtual settings
  • Contagious enthusiasm and a passion for training and development
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and motivational skills
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with sales methodologies
  • Additional certification in Miller Heiman sales methodology is a plus

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $75,800.00-$113,675.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
