Group/Division: Customer Channels Group / HealthCare Market Division

Position Summary:

As a Sales Order Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our goal of delivering exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive improved data integrity in the area of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) orders, resulting in enhanced efficiencies and Customer Appreciation Scores.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in activity-based problem resolutions.
  • Make decisions around prioritizing issue resolution tasks and collaborate with various functional teams and customers to resolve issues.
  • Participate as a key team member in conducting root cause analysis of recurring issues.
  • Work with functional areas on Kaizen project teams to improve processes and find permanent solutions to repeating issues.
  • Partner with Business Solutions Managers for the implementation of EDI to enable the sales team to maintain customer loyalty, improve customer satisfaction, and support key business initiatives.
  • Enable the achievement of sales targets through improved sales productivity.
  • Process daily EDI kick outs for the division while maintaining a record in salesforce.com via cases.
  • Understand the EDI system, including transaction types like 810, 855, 856, and 857, and how they impact customers and Fisher systems.
  • Work directly with customers to resolve order failures.

Keys to Success (Minimum Requirements/Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Business or Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience required.
  • 2+ years of Customer or Sales Support experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Have a proven track record in sales order management or a related field.
  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be adept at working with data and technology, particularly in the area of EDI.
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have experience with root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies such as Kaizen.
  • Possess excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Have previous experience with mainframe and/or database systems.
  • Operate effectively within a Matrix environment, managing both competing requirements and concurrent project activities.
  • Demonstrate strong project, time, and collaborator management skills.
  • Be willing to travel occasionally for training and sales meetings.
