Location/Division Specific Information
This position is within the Agribusiness BU, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific GSD Division. It is located in Lissieu, France (Lyon).
Discover Impactful Work:
The R&D intern is involved in the development of new veterinary diagnostic qPCR.
A day in the Life:
- Perform testing in compliance with good laboratory practices.
- Actively participate in daily laboratory organization.
- Analyze results and share conclusions with team, propose new ideas.
Education / Experience
Working toward a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or other related field of study.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- High command of English language
- Abilities to follow and adapt a protocol.
- A first experience in PCR, qPCR is appreciated.
- Knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal, analytical/problem solving and communication skills.
