Position Summary:

Contribute to learning strategies for Transplant Diagnostics Division in the Specialty Diagnostics Group as a Commercial Training Specialist on our Sales Operations Team. This remote position (1) is open to applicants in the upper 48 states of the U.S. near a major airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Needs Analysis: Evaluate the learning and development needs of the global sales team through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations. Identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Developing Training Programs: Craft and develop comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and sales objectives. Build engaging training materials, presentations, and interactive activities.
  • Delivering Training Sessions: Facilitate dynamic and interactive training sessions for sales representatives and managers, including in-person workshops, virtual training sessions, and e-learning platforms.
  • Sales Process and Product Training: Provide training on the sales process, covering prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing techniques. Support global sales force development.
  • Sales Skills Development: Coach and mentor sales representatives to improve their selling skills in areas such as effective communication, negotiation, relationship building, and consultative selling.
  • Sales Tools & Technology Training: Train the sales team on the effective use of commercial tools, CRM systems, and other technology platforms to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Sales Performance Evaluation: Assess the efficiency of training programs through evaluations and feedback. Analyze sales metrics and conduct follow-up sessions to reinforce learning and address performance gaps.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, sales methodologies, and standard processes. Recommend and implement new training initiatives to improve the efficiency of sales training programs.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least three years of relevant experience in clinical or healthcare sales and/or marketing.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Training Specialist or similar role, preferably within a healthcare sales environment.
  • Understanding of the current transplant diagnostics or healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, selling techniques, and sales methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and encourage learners in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales team members, subject matter experts, and collaborators.
  • Analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate training efficiency.
  • Familiarity with sales tools, content creation, as well as e-learning and Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms and CRM systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and deliver training programs in a dynamic environment.
