Job Description

Join our ambitious team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., where your expertise will drive flawless operations and world-class manufacturing. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our products.

In your role as Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the processes for product nonconformances and Release and Acceptance of products meet internal and external requirements. Tasks and responsibilities are divided into four different areas:

Regulations, inspections, and documentation:

  • Ensure that processes and associated steering documents are kept updated in accordance with applicable regulatory regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external inspections.
  • Conduct GAP and risk analyses related to the area.

Organization and interfaces:

  • Act as a QA Release support function within the group and for others in the organization.
  • Represent the group at various forums.
  • Serve as a contact person towards our sister site in Freiburg, Germany.

Training:

  • Ensure that training material is available and up to date.
  • Conduct training within the group and across the organization.

Analysis and improvement:

  • Establish, maintain, and follow-up activity plans for core processes annually.
  • Conduct risk analysis for processes.
  • Ensure that critical metrics and important metrics are measured and followed up.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate who takes responsibility, is driven, and has a strong focus on accuracy, with a demonstrated history of working in quality roles within a regulated industry. You should thrive in a collaborative environment, feel at ease working both independently and as part of a team, and place a high value on delivering work of the highest standard. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.

The ideal candidate should possess a university degree in natural science and be proficient in both Swedish and English. Additional experience in QSR, ISO 13485, and LEAN manufacturing will be advantageous.
