In this role, you will have the opportunity to accelerate life sciences research, address analytical challenges, improve patient diagnostics, and contribute to making the world a cleaner, healthier, and safer place.

As a qPCR Technical Sales Specialist, you will be part of our Genetic Sciences Division (GSD). Your primary responsibility will be to grow our qPCR assay and reagent revenues within your territory through direct sales activities. You will collaborate with colleagues from multiple divisions to provide our customers with the best tools to answer their questions and address their needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently and accurately lead the sales process including forecasting, pipeline management, and tracking
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of genetic analysis markets, products, and buying practices
  • Expand visibility of our qPCR consumables benefits to our customers
  • Provide foundational qPCR technical and sales training
  • Use tools and operational resources to enhance the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and expedite selling

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. Master's or PhD degree desirable.
  • Scientific consulting competence with a high level of product and technical understanding of qPCR and its applications
  • Sales agility and the ability to independently drive sales to meet targets

Candidate profile:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in Life Science preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of qPCR technologies preferred
  • Excellent influencing skills and a proven sales process to get results through others
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%
