Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, No eye contacts allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Work Schedule

Monday- Friday - Days (start times between 7:00am-8:30am-5:00pm) (overtime as needed)

How will you make an impact?

You will be joining a team that plays a role in ensuring the production of quality products. In this role, a candidate will perform a variety of duties to support the sites manufacturing at the STL site, including raw material sampling, inspections, and dispositions. Other responsibilities may include drafting/revising procedures and specifications, authoring deviation investigations, and handling chemical sampling inventory.

What will you do?

You will infiltrate a team of hardworking individuals that consistently go above and beyond to meet the needs of manufacturing. The job is very fast paced and changing therefore the ability to switch tasks quickly is desired. In the department, we perform inspections and/or sampling on incoming materials including bulk gasses and cell banks. You will support general laboratory functions such as ordering and stocking laboratory supplies, maintaining chemical retain inventory, and handling hazardous waste disposal. You will perform sampling of chemical raw materials in a clean room environment requiring gowning. Lastly, assist or lead new equipment initiation and preventative maintenance tasks for the department.

How will you get here?

Knowledge

  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Minimum 1 year of cGMP experience required.
  • Associates Degree in a related science field preferred.
  • Confirmed experience or be able to demonstrate skills in a regulated clean room environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical or cGMP environment.
  • Quality control incoming material, and/or raw material experience preferred.

Skills

  • Basic technical writing skills (i.e. SOPs, training documents, etc.)
  • Experience with aseptic technique required.
  • Ability to use standard computer programs such a MS Excel, Word, and Access
  • Detailed oriented
  • Results driven

Abilities

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks, needing supervision or support to resolve issues.
  • Possess strong communication (verbal and written) and effective organization skills.
  • Ability to identify issues, brainstorm solutions, and apply the PPI (Practical Process Improvements) Business System to find a better way.
  • Must be very observant with a high attention to detail.
  • Confirmed examples of integrity that aligns with our values.
  • Inconsistent heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. is required.

This job provides you with a M-F work week on first shift. Shifts are 8 hours and range from 7am-5pm.
