Position Summary:

Under direction of the Senior Associate Quality Control, perform QC checks in Receiving and Despatch, to provide required levels of support and service to operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve material specifications
  • QC Receiving Inspection and release of incoming materials
  • QC Despatch 1st QC and Final QC Inspection
  • Train and develop QC personnel across other QC functions
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, HSE, Quality Programme
  • Develop Continuous Improvements
  • Generate and update documentation
  • Investigates and report on external and internal non-conformances
  • Any other duties assigned by QC management

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

GCSE level or equivalent

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Related experience in pharmaceutical GMP
  • Experience of working in Clinical Trials quality/packaging/distribution
  • Able to work without direct supervision/on own initiative within the remit of this role
  • A knowledge of cGMP, MHRA,
  • Support the business development process and ongoing operation.
