As a QC Scientist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with international quality requirements and maintaining our exceptional quality systems. Your responsibilities will include following regulatory requirements, archiving of QC Documentation, supporting the practical application of various risk assessment tools, updating SOPs and work instructions, and accurately using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Additionally, you will be responsible for performing aseptic aliquoting of bulk samples, participating in QC laboratory housekeeping, and leading the implementation of new equipment and processes.

To excel in this role, applicants should possess a degree in Science or equivalent experience. A demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively is essential. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow Regulatory requirements, Corporate Quality Standards, local Standard Operating Procedures, and Policies.
  • Support in the practical application of various risk assessments tools.
  • Support in the practical application of the Quality System, Change Control, Deviations, CAPA, OOS and OOT, Document Management.
  • Update SOPs, work instructions, test records as required.
  • Accurate and timely use of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Perform aseptic aliquoting of bulk samples.
  • Participate in QC laboratory housekeeping.
  • Lead implementation of new equipment/processes, coordinate and /or undertake maintenance of QC equipment.
  • Perform QC Document scanning and archiving.
  • Coordinate with the internal Supply Chain department for regular replenishment of QC consumables.
  • Perform routine and non-routine sampling of the WFI & UPW systems.
  • Perform Chemical Waste storage and /or disposal.
  • Support Client Audits and Regulatory Inspections.
  • Lead, mentor and motivate members of the team by delivering training of QC Technicians and other staff as required.
  • Perform any other legitimate duties, as directed by the QC Team Leader (or delegate).

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science, or equivalent experience, favourable
  • Specific knowledge of Bio-pharmaceutical processes, Pharmaceutical guidelines, and principals of Good Manufacturing Practice, favourable
  • Proven record of ability to work as a team member and independently.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and take proactive measures to accomplish objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
