The Position
The Project Management team is one of the Competence & Technology departments of TEM solutions, the Research and Development organization. This group is committed to lead the development of innovative technology-, module- and integration projects that enable us to deliver extraordinary TEM microscopes for our demanding markets and customers.
As Project Manager TEM Non-Standard Request/Non-Standard Order you work within a multi-disciplinary team, based in Eindhoven and Brno. This role contains of three major activities:
- Leading and coordinating all incoming Brno-related NSR & NSO assessments, ensuring that all unique and custom requirements are accurately assessed, documented and fulfilled.
- Execution of NSRs; once an order comes in, you ensure to deliver verified solutions that meet client specifications and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Execution of Non-Standard Orders; managing system integration projects containing one or more NSRs. Securing timely delivery of systems to customers including organizing the field install and service activities.
In your role, you showcase thorough knowledge of sophisticated systems and promote Practical Process Improvements with high impact potential. You possess a good level in your field of competence and can influence your environment to get things done.
Duties and responsibilities
- Request Management: Receive, review, and assess customer requests to determine feasibility and requirements.
- Coordinate with sales, Operations Engineering, Factory and Service departments to understand client needs and expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for NSO coordinators and BUs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all orders are completed in accordance with company standards and client specifications, securing quality checks and reviews to verify that custom solutions meet or exceed client expectations.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the fulfillment process.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of all NSRs, including specifications, timelines, and outcomes.
- Conduct regular report-out on the progress and performance of NSRs and NSOs.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the NSR process.
- Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities to streamline and enhance the non-standard request process.
- Consistency to the Product Management Process and defined delivery schedules.
- Manage the project scope within the agreed budget, timeline, and quality.
- Participate and promote intellectual property related idea generation and development.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a coordination or project management role, of which you have worked in similar low volume capital equipment industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to process multiple requests simultaneously (20 - 50 requests / week).
- Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
- Czech/Slovak language proficiency.

You combine an analytical view with a pragmatic demeanor and can flex yourself in a product development environment. You are value oriented and able to set and act according to priorities at the same time.
