Location/Division Specific Information

Our Cincinnati site is a Center of Excellence for specialized oral solid dose drug manufacturing and drug development for the Drug Product Division within our Pharma Services Group (PSG).

Our Project Manager's are a highly influential team that leads each project's profit and loss (P&L). Finding shared value for our customers and our business serving patients all over the world is critical for our employees. This team is a key player on the cross-functional project team leading through a dynamic development space.

Discover Impactful Work:

Manages client related projects in an effective and efficient manner by ensuring delivery for assigned projects, such as project expansion, change of scope and life cycle. Serves as the primary client contact for assigned projects. Manages contact with the client on behalf of the company. Leads the assigned Project Teams (company and client), providing coaching or feedback to team members / management as appropriate. Manages all associated client project deliverables in line with the defined responsibilities of each project team member.

A Day in the Life:

  • Manages an appropriate number of active projects with regular monitoring and support from upper management, ensuring all assigned projects are delivered on time, and within the revenue and budget.
  • Leads the team to resolve all project issues and resource constraints affecting the portfolio. Leads planning and scheduling priorities among the project team.
  • Works closely with project teams to ensure best in class client service for projects. Balances core project responsibilities among team members and keeps them informed of all major client milestones and strategic client movements within their portfolios.
  • Communicates issues or risks in a timely and effective manner and develops mitigation plans to address/resolve them.
  • Completes revenue recognition and triggers invoices. Reports financials in appropriate tracking tools on time.
  • Ensures all project close-out activities are completed. Identifies and reports on lessons learned after project close-out.


  • Sends surveys out to clients and addresses feedback across teams.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in science or related field from an accredited College or University preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience required, or equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Pharmaceutical development experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of projected management will be required for this role.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
  • Being well organized and able to prioritize tasks will help you be successful in this role.
  • Having strong attention to detail and the ability to establish and meet project commitments is crucial.
  • PMP certification or knowledge of PMBOK preferred.
