Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, plan and implement assigned projects.
  • Estimate project capex budget and deliver the project not exceeding the forecast budget.
  • Build and present project report out to leadership.
  • Craft project plans with supporting analysis.
  • Some projects will involve supporting team unction operating at remote location.
  • Form relationships with business leaders and divisional teams to drive efficiency in the project approval and implementation phases.

Education

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering with pharmaceutical preferrence.
  • Solid track record for running projects in a complex manufacturing environment.

Expectation

  • You will have a high degree of autonomy to achieve project goals & objectives.

Experience

  • Experience gained from leading projects across a global organization is desirable.
  • Experience of significant capital investment projects and product transfers are desirable
  • Confirmed understanding of project management tools and methodology.
  • Must be detail oriented as well as exhibit strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to optimally interact with and collaborate across departments, business unit leadership, and Thermo Fisher divisions.
  • Ability to build plans that align with partner expectations.
  • Anticipates needs and problems while crafting solutions.
  • Ability to influence others and partner cross functionally.
  • Strong communication and social skills. Strong team building skills and the solid ability to work with a diverse group of people to develop credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with peers and management.
