Job Description

We are looking for committed individual who sought to be a project management professional.

The successful candidate will help drive project success in our various instrument buildups by following responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of Manufacturing Transformation and Transfer projects in manufacturing operations through ownership of project scope, schedule, resource and budget.
  • Assume role of Operations Project Lead. Drive Operations Team (Engineering, Manufacturing, QA and Supply Chain) to plan and drive transformation project to achieve business objectives, productivity and efficiency improvement at production. As point interface from Operations with PMO, R&D and Business in project core team.
  • Assume role of Catch lead in Product Transfer. Drive Catch Team to plan and drive transfer activities to start production. As the point operations contact for Pitch Team and Business in project team.
  • Coordinate project meetings and compile project status reports to achieve project plan to scope, schedule, resource and budget.
  • Engage Project Core Team and/Extended Team in project meetings to drive action to solutions.
  • Drive operational readiness to support development builds, trial manufacturing build and initial mass production. Conduct reviews and compile reports.
  • Participate in new process development, optimize existing process and implement technical breakthrough activities through Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to reduce manufacturing costs and/or improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Work with Business and Finance to develop initial project cost estimate and drive cost through the project lifecycle against cost targets.
  • Embrace and apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) / Lean thinking and skills to influence and drive improvement in Quality/Cost/Delivery from project cycle to delivery.
  • Maintain and ensure systems and procedures are compliance to the Organization's Quality standards and Regulatory requirements.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Tertiary education or University degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Business or Finance.
  • Project Management Certification will be an advantage.

Experience

  • More than 3 years proven experience in leading medium to large scale projects in any field within manufacturing operations.
  • 1 to 2 years hands-on experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing, supply chain, quality standards/regulatory requirements will be added advantage.
  • Solid track record in engaging optimally with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in fast-paced multi-disciplinary matrix environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong Project Management skills and project reporting capabilities (Dashboards, Gantt charts, Actions Tracking)
  • Demonstrated strong ability to coordinate meetings/discussions and communicate effectively to the cross-functional team members
  • Proficiency in Project Management tools and MS-Office tools (MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to lead project teams within a matrix environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good planning skills to prioritize assignments and workload.
  • Experience in ERP systems (i.e.SAP) and ISO standards will be a plus.
