Project Manager - Seoul

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Seoul. As a Project Manager, you will be a crucial part of our team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality implementation projects for our customers. Your role will involve coordinating and communicating with all relevant parties, with a focus on delivering flawless technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initialize and coordinate projects to deliver agreed scope of works to customer expectations, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and complete project files for all information pertaining to a customer's project.
  • Evaluate project results against objectives and determine corrective actions when necessary.
  • Prepare consistent project summaries and documentation for customers and Service Manager.
  • Be innovative, effective, and responsive in improving project execution within Thermo Fisher Scientific.
  • Implement technical solutions, such as LIMS, ELN, SDMS, and instrument integration into laboratories.
  • Submit all vendor documentation as required by project scope.
  • Participate in new project assessments and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Deliver first-level technical support to existing customers.
  • Ensure revenue recognition is in line with management's expectations.
  • Collaborate and assist in implementing strategies to grow our Korean customers.
  • Represent the APAC Project Management function internally within Digital Science.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • Formal Project Management experience (PRINCE2, PMP, AGILE, PMBOK).
  • Understanding of Enterprise Software implementation projects.
  • Experience with managing revenue forecasts.
  • Experience with contractor management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Educated to degree level or minimum 7 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to lead meetings and prioritize workload.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English.
  • Ability to set and meet expectations.
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% of working time.
