Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and resourceful individual to join our team as a Product Specialist (Lab Products Division) at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Seoul. Responsibilities: The main duties of this individual will be handling Cold Storage S

  • Manage the product line: Launch a new product. Work as an expert on the products responsible. Keep in contact with Global/APAC Marketing for support. Worked with supporting functions on registration, custom clearance, logistics, stock and quality complaints, etc.
  • Build and implement marketing strategy and plan: Acquire market intelligence on market trends, competitors, and customer demand to identify the position for exploring the potential to grow.
  • Drive growth through key initiatives and new market development: Make a detailed action plan and pricing strategy. Follow up regularly and keep track of the progress and performance.
  • Support sales team in reaching sales target: Build sales tools. Provide product training to the sales team and distributors. Visit and maintain key accounts. Build a network with KOLs and cultivate new speakers. Deliver the introduction of product and total solutions in customer workshops and conferences.
  • Work with Marcom and Sales on campaign and marketing activities: Leverage the website, and SNS to promote the products. Set up communication with FA and Vertical Marketing.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with other tasks related to the products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in preferably Bio-related majors, or equivalent experience.
  • More than 4 years of marketing experience passionate about meeting customer needs in B2C or B2B business environments.
  • Solid understanding of the general science market and optimization techniques.
  • Proven track record of crafting, optimizing, and reinventing campaigns.
  • Skilled in effective communication and adept at thinking creatively, with a strong ability to utilize data for decision-making.
  • Familiarity with matrix organizations.
  • Proficient in Korean and English.
