Our Clinical Specialists are actively involved with Clinical Account activity, Strategic Sales Strategies, Business Development and Contract Implementation and Business Reviews.

A day in the Life:

As part of our Sales Team, you are accountable for developing key business relationships with senior level decision makers within Fisher's clinical accounts in order to manage and grow client accounts. Working with a minimal amount of supervision, you will increase sales through highly focused selling to new customer opportunities (through direct sales efforts, contract negotiations, product and process detailing) in a highly competitive market. You will collaborate with and support our field sales generalists in the clinical market.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) with appropriate major required.
  • MSc or PhD is an asset

Experience

  • 5+ years of successful hands-on clinical lab or clinical sales experience
  • Laboratory technician experience strongly preferred (experience with workflows pertaining to Anatomical Pathology, Histology, Immunohistochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Approximately 30 to 50% travel will be required for this role.
  • Bilingual French required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Must be able to travel to the US
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to identify business opportunities in relation to growth strategies
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and able to work from a home office
