Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific in Colombia as a Product Specialist III. This sales role supports our strategy to market our world-class products, assisting distributors to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Work to meet business goals, such as sales targets set by management for assigned product lines of Thermo Scientific.
- Provide forecasts as well as a list of major projects in the territory.
- Provide input to the Area Manager with regards to market trends, distributor performance, important projects, and key customer development.
- Monitor competitor activities and propose tactics/strategies to counteract them.
- Implement an activity plan that outlines the necessary steps to enhance business growth in the assigned territory.
- Answer technical and application questions in support of sales opportunities.
- Perform routine field training with distributors to improve their awareness of product applications and technologies.
- Provide field demonstrations and installation support on assigned products.
- Produce and deliver technical presentations to potential customers addressing applications issues to drive product adoption and sales growth.

Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within a scientific or technical field.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to determine market trends and develop strategies to compete effectively.
- Strong technical background with the capability to answer complex application questions.
- Attitude of collaboration, with a positive and optimistic approach to team and customer interactions.
