What is the role
Collect VOC and Market Trends: Identify, document, and communicate customer challenges and preferences. Provide feedback on new features/capabilities needed and track market trends.
Market Segmentation: Research and figure out market segments to focus on.
Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs): Identify, champion, and collaborate with influential industry leaders to establish strategic partnerships that help improve our products and solutions.
Develop positioning and supporting materials to market our products as complete solutions.
Application Selection and Development: Work with product managers and application teams to identify key emerging applications.
Marketing Campaign/Program Development: Plan and complete effective marketing campaigns: Identify marketing tactics, ensure accurate collateral is available, and plan resources to deliver marketing programs. Regularly assess critical metrics and objectives of the marketing plan, taking action to bridge any gaps.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Develop and validate value propositions for new products with key customers.
Build impactful launch campaigns.
Assist in Planning: Conduct analysis of the competitive landscape and prepare materials. Work closely with product management to develop strategies for specific regions and market sectors.
Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver training materials for the sales team, ensuring they are up-to-date on market trends and product positioning.
Pricing and Promotions: Align locally with marketing positioning in collaboration with the commercial organization.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry or a MS or Ph.D. or equivalent experience or analytical instrumentation are preferred. A desirable qualification would be an MBA or similar business education.
- Several years of hands-on analytical instruments sales/marketing experience, ideally in Trace Elemental Analysis (ICP-OES and ICP-MS).
- Confidence in written, interpersonal, and verbal communication.
- Ability to understand technology and articulate strong customer value propositions.
- Strong digital literacy in office applications (MS Word, MS Excel) and presentation tools (MS PowerPoint) are essential.
- Independent self-starter with the ability to work with a diverse and distributed team.
